The prosecutor's office demanded to tighten the term of Bashkirova, who hit three children at the crossing
The Moscow prosecutor's office submitted a submission to the verdict of 18-year-old Valeria Bashkirova. She received five years in prison for an accident in which two children were killed and a third was injured. This was reported to “Lente.ru” in the supervisory department.
The prosecutor's office proposes to toughen the punishment for the perpetrator of the accident and sentence her to six years in prison. The submission is to be considered by the appellate instance.
The Solntsevskiy court of the capital sentenced Bashkirova to five years with a driving license deprivation of 2.5 years. On July 16, 2021, she hit three children while driving a Mazda. Minors crossed the road with two adults on an unregulated crossing. As a result of the collision, two children died in the hospital. Bashkirova was under house arrest, but later the investigation asked the court to send the girl to a pre-trial detention center.
