Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov responded to the journalists ‘ question about how can a woman be the next President of Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
A Kremlin spokesman reminded that no separation based on gender in this matter. “As for the female candidate, here the answer is very simple: the Constitution clearly describes who can be a candidate for the President of the Russian Federation. Women and men there is no separation” he said.
Earlier in mass media appeared information that the party “Fair Russia” may nominate for the presidential elections in 2018, the female candidate of either of the Vice-speaker of the state Duma Olga Epifanova or former actress, the Deputy Elena Drapeko.
