According to the ornithological ring installed for the bird on the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug back in 2013, experts found that the falcon had lived in the wild for eight years.

According to veterinarian Anton Modnov, the bird was seriously injured and emaciated, but outwardly it looked healthy. She has a ruptured ligament, the knee joint needs a long time to recover. For this reason, the peregrine falcon flew to the village for easy prey and was noticed by people.

“In the future, he will not be able to fully hunt (…) The bird, of course, cannot be released into nature,” he said specialist.

Earlier in Tyukalinsk, located in the Omsk region, a Russian rescued a rare Red Book bird, which later became a TikTok star. Denis Surikov got the idea to name the owl Serega. As a result, short videos with a bird of prey won over netizens.
