According to experts, travel in Russia is in demand due to the constantly changing rules for entering foreign countries, which creates difficulties when planning a trip. Also, low demand is influenced by high prices for flights. For example, you can buy a one-way ticket to the UAE for an average of 28 thousand rubles, to the Maldives – for 30.5 thousand.
Earlier in November, Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), said about “ explosive demand ”among Russians for overseas vacations during the New Year holidays. “The countries have established clear entry rules. And the tourists themselves had more confidence when planning their travel. In addition, the exchange rate stabilized, ”the expert explained.
