The Ministry of Energy supported the idea to grant Rosneft the right to export gas
The Ministry of Energy of Russia supported the idea to grant Rosneft the right to export 10 billion cubic meters of gas through an agency agreement with Gazprom, which has a monopoly on the export of pipeline gas from Russia. Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov announced this in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.
According to Shulginov, the ministry thinks that Rosneft will export gas from the Rospan and Kharampur projects. At the same time, he noted that we are talking about long-term prospects, since “Kharampur” has not yet been put into operation. “We support the topic of signing an agency agreement with Gazprom. This will not contradict the law, although it will be some kind of experiment, “- said Shulginov.
