Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on celebration of the 75th anniversary of the victory of Soviet troops in the battle of Stalingrad in 1943.
The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information.
The initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the victory in the battle of Stalingrad in 2018 by the government, according to the text of the decree “On the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the defeat of the Soviet troops of Nazi troops in the battle of Stalingrad”.
According to the document, will create the organizational Committee on preparation and holding of the celebration, its President is appointed Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
