Ministry of education and science voiced the position of the dissertation of the Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky in two weeks. The journalists said the head of the Ministry of education and science Olga Vasilyeva.

“Let’s speak… I think in two weeks,” – said Vasiliev, when asked to comment on the decision of the dissertation Council of historical faculty of Moscow state University refusal to revise his thesis Medina.

Earlier, the Dean of the history faculty of Moscow state University Ivan Tuchkov told TASS that the dissertation Council of the faculty of history of Lomonosov Moscow state University found no grounds for revision of the thesis Medina. In early October, dissertation Council of the Ural Federal University (Urfu) was to consider the application for the deprivation of the Medina for a degree. However the meeting was postponed at the request of the Minister in connection with the impossibility of its presence in Yekaterinburg.

Later, the media reported that the HAC withdrew addressed in the dissertation Council of the Ural Federal University of the case on deprivation of the Minister of culture for a degree. The head of the Commission explained that expired two months statements to this Council, it was reported that the Commission now needs to choose a different dissertation Council, which will consider the case.
