In the Paris metro, a smoke in one of the stations
MOSCOW, February 9 — RIA Novosti. Traffic on the sixth line of the Paris metro is broken due to short circuit, in which one of the stations was filled with smoke, reports Reuters with reference to police of Paris.
Police spokesman said that the incident occurred due to technical malfunction.
“There was no explosion. It’s not a terrorist attack”, — he stressed.
“There was a technical incident, on the sixth line, it was smoke. Workers are on the scene. On the section of the line movement was interrupted,” confirmed the Agency representative of the transport company RATP.
As reported in his Twitter journalist Remy Busin, the incident occurred at the metro station Place d’italie. According to him, eight people were injured in the incident, some of them were poisoned by smoke. The official information about the victims has not been confirmed.
