The defense Ministry commented on the situation around Patriot Park in Sevastopol, a joint project of the Department and of the club of Russian bikers “Night wolves”. Recently, the defense Ministry said the refusal to participate in the implementation of the Park project at mount Gasfort. The leader of “Night wolves” Alexander Zaldostanov (Surgeon) said that forced the Ministry to return to the original intent. This is reported by the Rambler/news citing TASS.
“The defense Ministry has not participated and will not allow himself to be drawn into squabbles over construction in Sevastopol Park “Patriot”,” – said the official representative of the defense Ministry major-General Igor Konashenkov.
He also noted that the defense Ministry consider the opinion of Sevastopol on the creation of this Park.
“Therefore, attempts to make the Park “Patriot” “Apple of discord” – a futile and short-sighted”, – said the representative of the Ministry of defense.
26 November last year, the official opening of the Park “Patriot”, which is actually not yet built. The mayor Dmitry Ovsyannikov said then that the concept of development of the Park will be posted on the city’s website. “Night wolves” staged at the event “bike show” with pyrotechnic effects.
In 2015, the “Night wolves” has leased a plot area of 267 ha for 1.4 million rubles per year for 10 years. The corresponding order was signed by the former Governor of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo, reports the edition “Kommersant”.
