The state Duma adopted in the first reading the draft law on the introduction of a fine for dangerous driving. On Friday, January 27, reported on the website of the lower house of Parliament.
Amendments establishing administrative responsibility “in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of five thousand rubles for committing the driver of the vehicle actions that qualify as reckless driving”, it is intended to Supplement Chapter 12 of the administrative code as section 12.38.
In the accompanying documents explained that the need for sanctions caused by a ban on this style of drive, introduced in June 2016. “Dangerous driving in some cases deprive other road users of the ability to predict the future behavior of the driver, and to react to it in order to avoid the creation of an emergency”, — stressed the authors of the project.
Their initiative was supported by the state Duma Committee on state construction and legislation, and his first Deputy Vyacheslav Lysakov proposed to tighten the responsibility for repeated incidents of dangerous driving. The relevant amendments he promised to prepare for the second reading of the draft law.
The responsibility for dangerous driving will carry not only the riders, but “snail”, told to “Interfax” Deputy interior Minister Igor Zubov. He explained that fans drive too slow not given to other members of the movement to regroup, but, according to the Deputy from “Fair Russia” Oleg Nilov, who raised this question, they provoke others on maneuvers, “fraught with accidents”.
On June 8 of last year in the rules of the road (SDA) introduced a new kind of offence — dangerous driving. The term refers to repeated acts of non-compliance to a safe distance or lateral spacing, hard braking in front of the car, undercutting rebuilding and preventing overtaking.
