The head of Zelensky's office was interrogated in the case of the “Wagnerites”

The head of Zelensky's office Yermak testified about the special operation to detain the “Wagnerites” a criminal case on a special operation to detain fighters of a private military company (PMC) Wagner. This was announced on Tuesday, November 30, by Interfax-Ukraine.

“As a law-abiding citizen, today at 8:30 am I visited the State Bureau of Investigation. He testified in the case of the “Wagnerites”. Provided all information known to me. I don’t consider it necessary to make a show out of this, so I didn’t call the cameras, ”Yermak said.

On July 29, 2020, 33 members of the Wagner PMC were detained in Belarus. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has requested the extradition of 28 detainees who fought in the Donbass. However, Belarus gave them to Russia.

Later, the Ukrainian media reported that the special services were preparing an operation to detain the “Wagnerites”. It was assumed that they would fly from Minsk to Istanbul, the plane would urgently land in Kiev, after which the mercenaries would be arrested. Former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vasily Burba claims that Zelensky gave the command to postpone the special operation, as reported by Yermak to Burba.
