It is known that the events, which were created in order to preserve the traditions of the New Year's holiday, will be held from December 15 to 30 in seven districts of the republic. The organizers will hold three competitions in the following nominations: “Ice City” (for the best design of an ice town), “Fairy Ice” (rating of snow and ice sculptures) and a competition among Santa Claus.
Themes for the competition “Ice City “Can be motives of fairy tales, legends and traditions of the peoples of Russia, as well as various anniversaries and significant events of the country. The main criteria for evaluating the work will be the originality of the concept, themed decoration of the New Year tree, the decoration of trees and the presence of lighting, snow and ice figures.
At the same time, the jury of the “Fairy Ice” competition will choose the winner, taking into technical performance of snow and ice sculptures. At the same time, as part of the competition “Santa Claus” on the Embankment of the Belaya River, it is planned to organize parades of Santa Clauses.
It is noted that in order to participate in the festival, regional administrations must submit an application to the Department of Culture and Arts by December 20. The results of the competition will be summed up by a commission, which will include honored workers and workers of culture and arts of Bashkortostan, as well as members of the Union of Artists of the Republic.
