The UN assessed the negotiations of Russia with Azerbaijan and Armenia

UN Secretary General Guterres welcomed the talks between Russia and Azerbaijan and Armenia Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, deputy official representative of the secretary general Farhan Khak said, RIA Novosti writes.

According to him, the international organization is pleased with the trilateral meeting of politicians, which took place on Friday, November 26. “He notes with satisfaction the role of the Russian Federation in facilitating the continuation of contacts and dialogue,” Hack stressed.

Guterres also appreciated the intentions of Baku and Yerevan to increase stability in the region. He called on them to “resolve contradictions through dialogue in all formats.”

Putin, Aliyev and Pashinyan agreed by the end of 2021 to create mechanisms for the demarcation and delimitation of the border between the two Transcaucasian republics. The parties signed a joint trilateral statement.
