The former miner accused the director of Listvyazhnaya of ignoring safety requirements
Director of the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo region, in which 52 people died , ignored the requirements of safety at work. Denis Timokhin, a former miner of the fourth-grade longwall face, told the Lenta.ru correspondent about this.
“There were problems in everything. The director only needed coal mining. Nothing more. And what percentage there [concentration] of methane [in the face], or something else, did not bother him, “he said.
Timokhin added that neither the gas level nor anything was monitored at the mine – or else. In addition, there were no fire extinguishers or additional self-rescue devices in the drifts.
