According to him, the world community has been observing the “increased presence” of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine for three weeks, while the authorities of the republic are skeptical to the likelihood of an armed invasion of its territory.

Klitschko accused the country's leadership of “shady moods” and urged him to “mobilize all resources” in order to “thwart the aggressor's plans” without wasting funds on “dubious projects.” “Once again, the enemy will test Ukraine for a fortress. We have no right to miss! ” – emphasized the Kiev mayor.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced the plan of Ukraine's partners from NATO and the European Union (EU) to act proactively in the event of “military aggression” by Russia. He stressed that we are talking about political and economic steps, including those related to assistance to Kiev.
Prior to this, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov reported that Russia plans to invade Ukrainian territory in late January or early February.
