If America decides to take this step, the Russian Federation can make a reciprocal symmetrical gesture towards the United States, the political scientist believes. “In Russia, as we know, elections will be held in early spring [2024] – this is March, most likely, and in America they will be held in six months, in November. Of course, Russia may well refuse to recognize these elections, convict the Americans of falsifications and try to discredit them as much as possible, “Dudakov said.
According to the political scientist, this will lead to a complete break in diplomatic relations. “Of course, this will lead to a serious jump in tensions throughout the world, after all, we are talking about two nuclear powers,” Dudakov concluded.
Earlier, Dudakov called such a gesture from the United States unlikely, but allowed such a possibility in case of low ratings of Democrats before the elections in the States in 2024.
