The head of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, contracted COVID-19. This was announced by the head of the press service of the regional government Dmitry Lyskov, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Before his trip to Moscow, the governor received a positive PCR test for coronavirus. Currently, Alikhanov feels fine, he tolerates the disease asymptomatically.
Lyskov added that at the moment the head of the region is in isolation at his workplace.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources resources and ecology of Russia Alexander Kozlov became infected with COVID-19. According to Marina Evseeva, spokesman for the Ministry of Natural Resources, he worked remotely.
