Russians were advised to buy apartments for rent

The head of “Univer Capital” Sagdiev: investments in rental housing are popular, but controversial Despite the popularity of such a tool, the idea is very controversial. This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Regnum agency by the general director of Univer Capital Askhat Sagdiev.

As the expert noted, a citizen who has invested in real estate will not be able to extract part of the funds if necessary – he will have to sell the entire apartment. If the money is needed urgently, you will have to make a serious discount, he said. At the same time, the one who buys housing will have to constantly pay utility bills – even during periods of downtime, when tenants will not live in it.

“Another question is if the number of apartments bought for rent increases dramatically, will it work out like that? that there will be much more landlords than tenants? The population is shrinking and aging, as a result, the old people will run after the young, begging them to rent their apartment at least for the price of utility bills, “Sagdiev warned.

He also advised Russians who buy housing for rent to take into account risks of fire, flooding and others, or spend extra money on insurance. “This item of expenditure will also only grow,” the expert predicted, concluding that, taking into account all of the above, income from the growth in the cost of housing “no longer looks so impressive.”

Earlier, Russian billionaire Alexander Sharapov called an easy way to survive retired – in his opinion, you can provide yourself with a decent old age by buying a “pension odnushka”. In another way, it is difficult to save up for retirement in Russia, and the payments themselves for the elderly are not high, the businessman said.
