Stasishin: Russia issued permits for the construction of 156 million “squares” of housing

He also noted that the mortgage market recorded a ten percent decline. “Our task as the Ministry of Construction is not to influence mortgages and not set trends in mortgages. Our task is to provide an effective rate for project financing, and it depends on the speed of filling the escrow. And the rate of filling depends on the mechanisms for improving housing conditions, that is, preferential mortgages throughout the country, “the deputy minister explained.
Earlier, the Central Bank published analytical materials in which Russians were warned about tightening lending conditions for mortgage and consumer loans … It will be associated with an increase in rates and the launch of restrictive macroprudential measures.
