Lavrov called the condition for holding a trilateral meeting on Karabakh

Foreign Minister Lavrov: a trilateral meeting on Karabakh will require consensus

A trilateral meeting on Nagorno-Karabakh will take place, but certain conditions are necessary for it. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this at a press conference, TASS reports.

He stressed that the summit with the participation of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place, but that it will require the willingness of the parties to come to common agreements.

“A meeting needs a consensus so that all those who are going to meet agree with it. I am sure that such a meeting will take place, “the diplomat explained.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. In his opinion, the participation of Russian diplomacy and peacekeeping contingent will be required to ensure stability in the region.
