Draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation: migrants from December 29 will be obliged to present a certificate of absence of HIV

Labor migrants and foreign citizens who arrived in Russia for a period of more than 90 days, they may be obliged to provide the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a certificate of absence of HIV infection and drug addiction from December 29. This follows from the draft order prepared by the department, TASS reports.

Foreigners must submit medical documents within 30 days from the date of expiry of the previously issued certificates. For minors, this is done by parents, guardians or representatives.

The certificate can be submitted in paper form to the MIA department for migration issues, or in electronic form, with a digital signature, to the territorial body of the department. If the document is drawn up in a foreign language, it must be translated into Russian and certified by a notary.

After submission, a certificate of receipt or an e-mail is issued to the migrant, and the data is entered into the information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within three working days from the date of receipt .

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a bill according to which migrants entering the territory of Russia will be fingerprinted. They want to take such measures in relation to those who plan to acquire Russian citizenship or stay in the country for more than 90 days.
