Disgraced billionaire Leon Black bought a mansion in Britain near the residence of Elizabeth II , whom the Russian model Guzel Ganieva accused of rape and harassment, acquired a mansion in the UK. The entrepreneur's new property is located in one of the most expensive areas of London, Bloomberg reports, citing a source.
The residence called Eaton Square is located in the exclusive Belgravia area, a 15-minute walk from Buckingham Palace – the official London residence of Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain II. Several decades ago, former Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin lived in the house. Black gave about £ 21 million (over two billion rubles) for the property – two million below the asking price.
The residence includes a spacious apartment and an adjacent house. According to The New York Post, there are a total of six bedrooms, a dining room and living rooms with access to a terrace. The interior of the rooms is made in pastel colors with bright accents in the form of a crimson sofa and carpets with an active pattern.
Model Guzel Ganieva filed a lawsuit against Leon Black in June 2021, accusing him of rape after meeting in 2008 year. Soon, the financier called the accusations false and stated that the model herself extorted money from him, blackmailing him by disclosing information sensitive to him.
