“The UN Secretary General has full understanding that Belarus is an exclusively transit country, that people who are in Belarus do not consider Belarus as the destination of my trip, ”the diplomat said. According to him, all migrants rush to the west, they are interested in Germany, not Belarus, Lithuania or Poland.
He advised the UN Secretary General to pay attention to what he agreed in principle: that “the true reasons for all these migration crises is actually the destruction of these states. ” “Their economies, way of life, Western countries, often forcibly, to impose their ideas and standards of what, from their point of view, is called democracy and human rights,” Rybakov said, adding that the result of these actions are migration flows.
Also, the Belarusian diplomat noted that earlier Guterres was at the post of UN High Commissioner for Refugees, he has a good understanding of the situation at the border.
Earlier, Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei addressed Guterres. The letter outlined the official position of the department regarding the situation on the western borders of Belarus and the steps that are being taken to resolve it and provide assistance to migrants.
