Croatian coach Ivica Olic said he would not return in CSKA, while Roman Babaev will be the general director of the army team. He named such a condition for joining the Moscow club in an interview with Chempionat.com.

Horvat criticized the leadership of the capital's team and said that it was they who were to blame for the fact that his coaching career at CSKA did not work out. “I felt that the philosophy that the leadership imposes and I want to see is completely different,” Olic added.

The coach left the post of CSKA mentor on June 15. The coach worked for the Moscow team for two and a half months.

Olic played for the army club as a footballer from 2004 to 2006. On account of his 112 matches and 41 goals for the red and blue. He became the champion of Russia three times, and also won the UEFA Cup together with the army team in the 2004/2005 season.
