Russia warns of the threat of spreading terrorism to Afghanistan's neighbors

Nebenzya: there is a threat of the spread of terrorism and drugs to Afghanistan's neighbors activity on the territory of Afghanistan's neighboring countries. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

During his speech at the UN Security Council, the diplomat noted that the coming of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan did not bring stability to the country, and new challenges were added to the old problems, primarily related to the lack of international recognition, reports TASS.

Earlier, the head of the UN mission in Afghanistan, Deborah Lyons, at a meeting of the Security Council of an international organization, accused representatives of the radical Taliban movement in power in Afghanistan of inability to resist the proliferation of Islamic State militants ( IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia) on the territory of the country.

In October, Andrei Serenko, an expert at the Center for the Study of Modern Afghanistan, said that the country was not actually fighting terrorists.
