Best Gang Investigator Sues MIA

The best organized crime investigator is suing the Ministry of Internal Affairs for dismissal for dismissal from the Yekaterinburg police. This was reported on Wednesday, November 17, by E1.ru with reference to the lawyer of the investigator Dmitry Lebedev.

According to the newspaper, former police captain Yulia Makerova is trying to recover from the service after, as she believes, illegal dismissal. The woman filed a lawsuit with the Verkh-Isetsky court of Yekaterinburg.

According to the investigator herself, she was accused of borrowing money from a stranger. This action was equated to a bribe. Makerova returned the money, and the management learned about it. At the same time, the department said that she had committed an act defaming the honor of an OVD officer.

Lebedev told E1.ru that there are no laws in Russia that would prohibit borrowing money. The person who lent Makerova the money did not participate in the criminal cases in any way. For this reason, he could not influence the work of the investigator, the human rights activist added.

A bribery case was opened against the captain of justice Makerova at the end of the summer of 2021. She was detained, now she is under house arrest. The Russian woman does not admit her guilt.

Makerova was repeatedly called one of the best fighters against organized crime: she solved the case of a gang of migrants who, with the help of a beautiful girl, lured victims, then tortured them with an iron and robbed them, filmed the process of bullying on video … She also investigated a criminal case against a group founded by two pimp brothers.
