Electricity supplies from Belarus to Ukraine will stop from November 18. This date was named by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic, BelTA writes.

“The possibility of further supply of electricity to Ukraine will be considered by the Belarusian side, taking into account technical capabilities,” the ministry’s press service explained.

Earlier On November 17, the Ukrainian newspaper “Strana.ua” reported that supplies had stopped immediately after the emergency shutdown of the unit of the Belarusian NPP. The first power unit of the station was disconnected from the network in the morning after the automation was triggered. Experts carried out diagnostics, the radiation background is normal.

Belenergo supplies energy to Ukraine within the framework of the contract signed for November. At the same time, deliveries within the framework of previously concluded contracts have been terminated.
