Oktyabrsky district court Vladimir Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region Grigory Vishnevsky, who is accused of taking bribes. This is reported by TASS.
The preventive measure was elected for two months until January 14, 2022. The defendant's defense asked for house arrest.
The court interrogated the wife of the acting vice-governor as a witness. Vishnevsky does not admit his guilt, refusing to testify.
On November 16, the acting head of the region, Alexander Avdeev, said that the accused official would be removed from office for the duration of the investigation. Vishnevsky was detained on the same day. Investigative actions took place in the administration of the Vladimir region. The official is charged with receiving 600 thousand rubles during the construction of a school during the period of work of ex-governor Vladimir Sipyagin, who resigned on October 4 in connection with the transition to work as a deputy of the State Duma.
Vishnevsky became acting vice-governor of the Vladimir region March 18, 2021 and oversaw social development.
