SuperJob: Novokuznetsk turned out to be the dirtiest city in Russia

Analysts of the SuperJob job search service named the cities of Russia with the most unfavorable environmental conditions in the opinion of Russians. The leader was Novokuznetsk – only 20 percent of residents consider the level of pollution to be acceptable, writes RT, citing a study.

SuperJob has compiled a rating based on the results of a survey of residents of the largest cities in the country. The settlements were assessed for the quality of air, water and food, as well as for the cleanliness of streets and waste disposal. In addition to Novokuznetsk, the top 10 dirtiest cities included Ryazan (27 percent), Togliatti (29 percent), Chelyabinsk (30 percent), Astrakhan (34 percent), Lipetsk (36 percent), Volgograd (38 percent), Krasnoyarsk (38 percent) ), Saratov (39 percent) and Omsk (42 percent).

The Russians rated the ecological situation in Tyumen the highest of all – 74 percent of residents are satisfied with it. It is followed by Krasnodar (73 percent), Kazan (72 percent), Naberezhnye Chelny (68 percent), Vladivostok (67 percent), Barnaul (65 percent), Perm (65 percent), Kirov (65 percent), Khabarovsk (63 percent) ) and Izhevsk (63 percent). Moscow was in 18th place, and St. Petersburg – in 11th.
