The UK opened a case over a video of a pensioner tied to a bed in a private boarding house
On the fact of publishing a video with a bed tied to a bed a pensioner in Mytishchi outside Moscow initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements). This was reported in the press service of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the region.
The department clarified that on the frames spread on the network, one of the guests of the institution is tied to a bed, and the second pensioner expresses claims against the employees of the institution and reports facts of cruel treatment with her.
Investigators examined the premises, and also requested documentation from a private boarding house. Also, employees of the department identified the guests depicted in the video and interviewed them. As follows from the survey results, no illegal actions were committed against them. In addition, a medical examination of the pensioners was carried out,
no external visible bodily injuries were found.
It is noted that the other 15 guests of the boarding house also did not report any illegal actions against them by the workers. At the same time, the investigators took measures to establish the whereabouts of the former employee of the boarding house, who filmed and posted the video on the social network.
Earlier, in a boarding house for the elderly in the city of Vidnoe, Moscow Region, they found a pensioner tied to a bed in tights. According to the workers of the boarding house, the woman was tied up to calm her down – she allegedly behaved violently. At the same time, the experts who examined the pensioner did not reveal signs of violent behavior.
