Poroshenko called Putin's decree on goods from Donbass a slap in the face

Former head of Ukraine Poroshenko: Russian President Putin fixes new boundaries of hybrid aggression decree on ensuring equal conditions for the access of Donbass goods to participation in public procurement. In his Telegram channel, he called it “a slap in the face to everyone who was looking for a peaceful settlement.”

“The decree signed on November 15 on the so-called humanitarian support to certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions occupied by Russia is nothing more than a mockery. A slap in the face to all who sincerely sought a peaceful settlement. With his decree, Putin is fixing the new frontiers of Russian hybrid aggression. He does not need a peaceful settlement, only the complete surrender of Ukraine and the West, “wrote the ex-head of Ukraine.

He believes that Kiev needs to seek the abolition of this decree, as well as the return of its enterprises, the abolition of the ruble zone and decisions about certification. He called for new sanctions against Russia. In particular, he turned to Germany and France, which had previously threatened Moscow with “dire consequences” for undermining the territorial integrity of Ukraine. In addition, Poroshenko spoke in favor of stopping the certification of Nord Stream 2.

Earlier, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said that the US military continues to observe the unusual military activity of Russia near the borders with Ukraine. He also noted the “lack of transparency” on the Russian side regarding the concentration of forces in the western part of the country.
