Earlier, residents of Ukraine were warned about the risk of rolling blackouts this winter. According to the head of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh, not only the regions, but also Kiev will remain without electricity.

On November 11, the likelihood of a power outage in the Ukrainian capital was assessed by the mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko. According to the mayor, in the event of prolonged frosts, rolling blackouts are possible, which has not happened in the city for 20 years. The Kiev mayor noted that today the shortage of coal and gas is felt at once by 12 capital enterprises producing heat and electricity.
