Four pedestrians died in an accident on the Stavropol highway trying to help the victim

In the Georgievsky urban district on Monday, November 15, at about 18:30, the driver stopped by the road due to a car breakdown. He got out of the car to put an emergency stop sign on the 314th kilometer of the Kochubei – Zelenokumsk – Mineralnye Vody highway. The driver of a MAN truck driving in the same direction did not notice him on the road, and, trying to avoid a collision, turned the steering wheel to the left.
He hooked on an oncoming Volkswagen Polo, pulled off the road and overturned on the side of the road. Witnesses of the accident ran to help the driver of the heavy truck. Four people were crossing the carriageway in an unidentified place. They were run over by Mazda. All victims of their injuries died on the spot. One of the dead by inertia flew to the side of the road and fell on two more pedestrians. They received cut and scalped wounds.
Police are working at the scene of the accident. The identities of the victims are being established.
Earlier, four people died in an accident with a bus and a truck near Vladimir. A Mercedes bus, heading towards Nizhny Novgorod, collided with a Scania truck, which was parked on the side of the road.
