“Ukraine is preparing for different scenarios of the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border,” Danilov said.

He suggested creating an interdepartmental group with the involvement of law enforcement agencies and local authorities to monitor the situation with migrants. “We must act in an absolutely coordinated, calm and balanced manner and adhere to the state position,” the NSDC secretary added.
Earlier, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin called on the country's authorities to obtain guarantees from the European Union (EU) of assistance in the event of an influx refugees from the territory of Belarus. Klimkin called the migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU a Russian special operation.
In Belarus, groups of migrants from the Middle East have been trying to break through to Poland and Lithuania for several days. The Polish authorities claim that 3-4 thousand people have accumulated near the borders, the Lithuanian authorities counted about 300 migrants near their cordon. The authorities of three German cities – Munich, Erlangen and Nuremberg – agreed to accept refugees on the Polish-Belarusian border.
