Meteorologist Vilfand: the temperature background in the regions of the Urals will be below normal by 4-7 degrees an abnormal cold snap awaits. This was reported to TASS by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand.
The meteorologist warned that from Monday the temperature at night in the Urals will drop to minus 15-18 degrees Celsius, and 20-degree frosts are expected in the Kurgan region. During the day it will also be minus 5-10 degrees. In general, the temperature background in the regions of the Urals will be below normal by 4-7 degrees, Vilfand noted.
At the same time, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center also noted that the temperature is expected to be 4-7 degrees higher than normal in the regions of the North -Western Federal District. In addition, in the Far Eastern Federal District, anomalous heat will last at least until November 19, the expert added.
Earlier, Vilfand said that frequent thaws are expected in Russia this winter.
