According to him, from Monday the weather in the capital will change greatly. Wilfand noted that the pressure will be very high, and the temperature will be negative both day and night. He also added that on Monday the weather will begin to clear up, and on Tuesday there will be very few clouds and a lot of sun. The meteorologist stressed that Moscow will have a “clothed version of the weather” from Alexander Pushkin's poem “Winter Morning”, that is, sunny, frosty day and night.
At the same time, Vilfand said that such weather will last in the capital at least till Thursday. On Monday, it is predicted from 5 degrees of frost to zero, and on Tuesday from minus 2 to zero, and in the middle of the week, the thermometers will be set at zero.
Earlier, the head of the Hydrometeorological Center warned that from November 15, residents of the Ural regions are expected abnormal cold snap. The meteorologist said that from Monday the temperature at night in the Urals will drop to minus 15-18 degrees Celsius, and 20-degree frosts are expected in the Kurgan region. During the day it will also be minus 5-10 degrees. In general, the temperature background in the regions of the Urals will be 4-7 degrees below normal, Vilfand noted.
