Lukashenko distracts attention from Russia's actions in Ukraine, Blinken said

“Secretary of State Blinken reaffirmed US support for Poland in the face of Lukashenko's cynical use of vulnerable migrants. These actions of the Lukashenka regime threaten security, sow division and & nbsp; are aimed at diverting attention from & nbsp; Russian actions on & nbsp; the border with & nbsp; Ukraine & nbsp;, & nbsp; & mdash; State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a & nbsp; statement.

“ Secretary of State Blinken and & nbsp; Minister Rau firmly condemned the use of vulnerable migrants as & nbsp; as a tool and & nbsp; called on Lukashenka to address the root cause of the sanctions imposed by the West & nbsp; & mdash; refusal to the Belarusian people in & nbsp; respect for human rights and & nbsp; fundamental freedoms & raquo;, & nbsp; & mdash; Price stated.

“ The Secretary of State also expressed deep gratitude to Poland for the & nbsp; open support it expresses for the sovereignty and & nbsp; territorial integrity of Ukraine. The United States, Poland and & nbsp; other allies and & nbsp; partners are united in & nbsp; to make Moscow pay for & nbsp; its military aggression and & nbsp; harmful influence in the & nbsp; region & raquo;, & nbsp; & mdash; concluded Price. Moscow and & nbsp; Minsk & nbsp; have already denied the State Department's claims in the & nbsp; past.

Price clarified that & nbsp; Blinken's conversation with the & nbsp; Polish minister took place on & nbsp; Saturday.

President & nbsp; RF Vladimir Putin stated that & nbsp; accusations of & nbsp; address of Russia in & nbsp; migration crisis on & nbsp; border of Belarus and & nbsp; Poland & nbsp; & mdash; on the conscience of those who & nbsp; their & nbsp; voiced is the desire to shift problems from a sore head to a healthy one. According to & nbsp; he said, Russia & nbsp; has absolutely no relation to the current situation, but & nbsp; is ready to contribute to its settlement.

Ukraine and & nbsp; Western states in & nbsp; have recently expressed concern about & nbsp; connection with & nbsp; allegedly increasing 'aggressive actions from & nbsp; Russia to & nbsp; Ukraine. In & nbsp; Washington in & nbsp; April 2021 announced the & nbsp; escalation of “ Russian aggression '' and & nbsp; the movement of troops & nbsp; RF in & nbsp; Crimea and & nbsp; & nbsp; on the eastern border of Ukraine. The press secretary of the President of the & nbsp; RF Dmitry Peskov stated that & nbsp; Russia is moving troops within & nbsp; the limits of its territory and & nbsp; at & nbsp; its discretion. According to & nbsp; he said, this does not & nbsp; threaten anyone and & nbsp; does not & nbsp; should worry anyone. With this & nbsp; in the second half of April, the Ministry of Defense & nbsp; RF reported that & nbsp; Russian troops involved in the & nbsp; & nbsp; surprise check in & nbsp; the south and & nbsp; west of the country began to return to & nbsp; their units. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu then ordered to return to & nbsp; May 1 & nbsp; the places of permanent deployment of the troops that were involved in the & nbsp; exercises.
