Education Minister Kravtsov: sports and theater circles will be created in schools until 2024

During a strategic session on the development of education in the Far East, the head of the Ministry of Education said that two circles will be created in each school until 2024. In addition, he announced changes in education: according to him, the authorities are striving to unify textbooks in the country.
“Even in a pandemic, we faced that everyone actually has their own schedule. The quality of education largely depends on how unified the educational space will be, so we will strive to unify textbooks, ”the minister stressed.
Kravtsov added that these issues will be considered in more detail at a large All-Russian meeting planned on November. The discussion will involve specialized departments – in particular, the Ministry of Culture.
Earlier, the honored teacher of Russia, Alexander Snegurov, named the main problem of Russian school textbooks. In his opinion, the stamp on the compliance of the book with the standards and recommendations adopted in the country does not bear any guarantees of its quality. In addition, Snegurov spoke in favor of reducing the number of school textbooks.
