RPL club interested in Carrera

Former Spartak coach Massimo Carrera is a candidate for head coach at Khimki

Former coach of Spartak Moscow may return to the Russian Premier League (RPL). This is reported by the “Rating of Bookmakers.” The option of inviting the mentor of the youth national team of Russia Mikhail Galaktionov is also being considered. It is noted that the management of Khimki will decide on the candidacy by the middle of next week.

The last club of Carrera was Serie C club Bari. He took over the team in February and was dismissed two months later.

Russian fans know Carrera for his work at Spartak Moscow. He led the club to the gold medals of the Russian Championship in the 2016/2017 season. In the fall of 2018, he left the club. Before that, the Italian had a conflict with the team leaders. In particular, with the captain of the red and white Denis Glushakov.
