“Mash on the Moika”: father of many children accused of molesting two daughters

The 44-year-old father of nine children from Slantsy was detained by law enforcement officers on suspicion of molesting two daughters born in 2004 and 2014. A criminal case was initiated under the article “Depravity.” Another seven-year-old girl also spoke about abuse, the rest of the children recalled strange games with dolls with their dad.
It was noted that the man had recently left the family, as his wife found out about his infidelities with young girls. In total, the couple are raising nine children, five of whom are adopted.
Earlier in November, the church court of the Birobidzhan diocese defrocked a priest who was convicted of child molestation. It was noted that the priest at the same time admitted his guilt in the abuse of 53 boys, violation of monastic vows and priestly oath.
