The State Duma named the main difficulty in issuing a QR code only by the presence of antibodies

Deputy of the State Duma Kurinny: to issue a QR code for the presence of antibodies, it is necessary to understand the level

The main difficulty in issuing a QR code is only by availability antibodies now is to understand which level is considered sufficient. State Duma deputy, member of the Health Protection Committee Alexei Kurinnyy told the TV channel 360 about the need for this understanding.

There is no need to create a separate register. It is only important to add one more line to the already existing database of COVID-19 patients and vaccinated, the deputy is sure.

Kurinny explained that at the present time the scientific community has not determined the range of the initial level of antibodies. For now, it fluctuates from 300 to 500. “When this consensus is reached, it may be correct to introduce a third group – those who have sufficient immunity to receive a QR code,” the Russian deputy believes.

< p> If this decision is made, the duration of the validity of such a certificate should be discussed – a year, as in vaccinated people, or six months, as in those who have undergone coronavirus, said Kurinny. He does not rule out that the terms may be reduced.

On November 12, State Duma deputy from LDPR, immunologist Sergei Leonov came up with an initiative to create in Russia an additional register of citizens who have antibodies to coronavirus or have had them asymptomatically. Such a measure will be relevant for those who did not seek help from doctors, and for those who received foreign vaccines.
