Tactical troops of Russia and Belarus landed at the Gozhsky training ground for the exercises 
region within the framework of checking the reaction forces of the Union State, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense reports.
According to them, Russian Il-76 aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus are involved in the exercises. After landing at the training ground, the joint tactical assault force will carry out a conditional seizure and hold of the bridgehead, search and destruction of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and illegal armed formations.
Upon completion of all the tasks of the tactical landing, its participants will return to their permanent deployment points. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus added that the exercises are being conducted in connection with the buildup of military activities near the border of the republic.
