Russian President Putin: issues of personal data must be approached carefully and carefully 
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the correct approach to personal data of citizens. He stated this at the international conference on artificial intelligence and data analysis Artificial Intelligence (AI) Journey 2021, reports TASS.
According to Putin, the issue of personal data must be approached very carefully and carefully. The President noted that any action should be performed only with the consent of a person.
The head of state said that artificial intelligence technologies today are “a point of attraction for talented, creative people who are ready to dream and achieve their goals.” As Putin clarified, it is important that such technologies work not for harm, but for the benefit of people, and also help to save the planet and ensure its sustainable development.
Prior to this, the president said about the need to use the capabilities of the metaverse, “to communicate and learn despite the distance. ” At the same time, Putin stressed that one cannot escape from the real world to the virtual one.
The annual international conference AI Journey is dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence and is held by Sberbank with the participation of experts from all over the world. In 2021, the event runs from November 10th to 12th.
