The SBU checks the possible involvement of Poroshenko in treason in the procurement of coal from Donbass Poroshenko to treason when purchasing coal from Donbass. This was stated by the head of the department Ivan Bakanov, according to the agency “Ukrainian News”.
It is noted that the check also affected the former head of the National Bank Valeria Gontareva. “The relevant version is being tested,” said the head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
In the spring, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Viktor Medvedchuk was accused of treason and violation of the laws and customs of war. In October, he was presented with new charges of treason and aiding terrorism, which relate to coal supplies from the territory of Donbass not controlled by Kiev.
