On December 27, the Moscow City Court left businessman Viktor Baturin in a pre-trial detention center until December 1.

A criminal case was initiated against Viktor Baturin under Article 159 (Attempted Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Russia. On July 1, he was detained. The case was based on the events of 2011: then the businessman went to court with a claim to return him 25 percent of the shares of Inteko, providing an agreement signed by his sister Baturina. It followed from the document that the shares really belonged to him, and his sister had to pay market compensation for them. Baturina claimed that the signature was not hers. Luzhkov's brother-in-law denied all charges and refused to plead guilty in the criminal case.

Elena Baturina, according to Forbes, is on the list of the richest women in Russia. The publication estimates her fortune at $ 1.3 billion.
