FSB: military court sentenced a citizen of Tajikistan to 2.5 years for propaganda of terrorism 
Military court of Abakan sentenced to 2.5 years freedom of a citizen of Tajikistan who propagandized on the territory of Russia the ideas of the terrorist organization Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad, banned in the Russian Federation. TASS writes about this with reference to the regional department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in Khakassia.
In a message distributed by the press service of the department, it is said that during the operational-search measures, intelligence officers managed to document the fact of the spread of residents in Abakan by a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan of terrorist ideology. “By the verdict of the 1st Eastern District Military Court, a supporter of terrorist organizations was found guilty of committing this crime and sentenced to 2 years 6 months in prison,” the FSB reported.
He was also convicted for failure to report the crime a compatriot who lived with him in the same apartment and knew about the criminal activity of the convict. The punishment is provided for in Article 205.6 (“Failure to report a crime”). He was denied a residence permit in Russia and was obliged to pay a fine of 25 thousand rubles.
In September, FSB officers in Krasnoyarsk also detained two recruiters into the ranks of Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad. And at the end of August, the FSB special forces identified the ringleaders and participants of the Katiba Tawhid wal-Jihad. As a result of the special operation, 31 terrorists were detained. At the places of residence of the suspects in Moscow, the Novosibirsk Region, Yakutsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, banned religious literature, communication means, information carriers and bank cards were seized.
