Uber was convicted of discrimination against people with disabilities

The agency accused the company of requiring disabled people to pay additional waiting time. The Justice Department pointed out that Uber did not adjust the rules for payment of waiting times for people who, due to health reasons, need more than two free minutes to get into a car.

The United States demanded that the company stop discrimination, change its pricing policy and indemnify the injured passengers. In addition, Uber was fined.

On August 5, it became known that Uber had spent too much money to attract taxi drivers. As a result, the company's shares fell by 2.29 percent.

In June, it was reported that about 20 percent of employees quit the service for ordering a taxi and food Uber. Current and former employees of the company see several main reasons for high turnover.
