According to the newspaper, the incident took place on the evening of November 10. At about 20:40 an unknown person approached the police officers, grabbed one of them by the shoulder and demanded to light a cigarette. After he refused from the part of the law enforcement officers, he began to use foul language loudly, and then tried to stab them. After that, the attacker attempted to escape by rushing across the roadway. However, the police were able to detain him and handed him over to the law enforcement officers who came to the rescue.

The detainee was a 24-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, who had been previously convicted several times.

Currently, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.

In August, a half-naked black man threatened police officers in Moscow with a knife. At first, he behaved inappropriately, and when passers-by called the police, he undressed and began brandishing a knife. To detain him, the officers had to call for reinforcements – the rowdy refused to drop their weapons.
