Citizens will move around the districts by metro.

According to the author of the project, climate problems, including natural disasters, may force people to look for new places to live. “Climate change and, as a consequence, an increase in the number of natural disasters, will force us to seek alternative spaces for life. Cities will need to be protected from storms, tornadoes and rising temperatures, “Schmidt explained.

In September 2021, Danish architect and BIG founder Bjarke Ingels, together with entrepreneur Mark Loret, decided to build a new city in the middle of the US desert. the name of Telos. Five million people will be able to live on an area of ​​150 thousand acres (more than 60.7 thousand hectares).
