Secretary Blinken: US to supply lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine 
The White House will work with the US Congress to ensure continued military assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, RIA Novosti reports.
The American politician made the corresponding promise during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. Blinken noted that the United States will supply Ukraine with the systems the country needs, including lethal defensive weapons.
Previously, Blinken accused Russia of all provocations in the Donbass, including the movement of troops near the Ukrainian border. He expressed concern that Moscow could “repeat the mistake of 2014”, when Russia allegedly accumulated forces along the border, crossed it and penetrated into the sovereign territory of Ukraine.
